A smiling woman with blonde hair wearing a blue and white striped shirt and a lanyard engages with a group of young people at a busy indoor event. She holds a card reader or device in her hands. The diverse crowd of attendees fills the background of a large, well-lit venue with tables and a screen visible in the distance.

Kista Science City invites companies to a matchmaking event connecting businesses with students in later years of technical study. The event is an opportunity to meet future engineers, present open opportunities and build early relationships with students interested in thesis placements, internships and early-career roles.

Participating companies get access to a matchmaking platform where they can add company information, job openings and preferences. They then screen and select 6–8 students for 1:1 meetings before the event and take part in the matchmaking day on 10 September.

Students are expected from fields including electrical engineering, applied physics, materials science, nanotechnology, microelectronics, photonics and related technical master’s programmes.

Semiconductor Arena is co-funded by the European Union and run by Kista Science City, KTH, RISE and Sting.
