Cybersecurity

Building tomorrow’s cyber defence

In Kista Science City, you’ll find a strong ecosystem for cybersecurity with networks, infrastructure and expertise. Here, research institutes, companies and academia collaborate on urgent security challenges.

Get in touch

Three professionals greeting each other at a business event. A woman with shoulder-length brown hair and a black leather jacket smiles warmly while shaking hands with a man in a navy suit seen from behind. A man in a grey suit and red tie smiles and engages in conversation. Another attendee is visible in the background.

Find collaboration partners

Here, you can share expertise, find partners for pilots and co-develop solutions that strengthen both national security and business competitiveness. Whether you work for a scaleup, large tech company or research group, the ecosystem helps you connect with the right actors.

Access testing environments

At RISE’s Cyber Range, you can test and validate IT systems in fully controlled virtual environments. Ensure correct implementation, evaluate response strategies under realistic conditions and identify vulnerabilities before they can be exploited.

Customers and validation

Kista is the Nordic entry point for Thales’ Trust My Tech programme. The programme validates cybersecurity solutions in real-world environments, giving selected companies access to expert mentorship, advanced platforms and a global customer network. For established companies and research institutes, it offers a way to scout and collaborate on new technologies at an early stage.

Join a strong ecosystem

Kista Science City is home to Sweden Secure Tech Hub, RISE Cyber Range and a master’s programme in cybersecurity at Stockholm University. Together, these efforts connect research, education and industry to strengthen Sweden’s cybersecurity capacity and global competitiveness.
