Nordic Corrosion Congress 2026 

On 14–16 April, Nordic Corrosion Congress takes place in Kista. The congress is organised in collaboration between RISE, Jernkontoret, KTH and Swerim, and covers recent developments in corrosion research, from fundamental mechanisms to applied methods for testing, monitoring and prevention.

This year marks the 19th edition of the Nordic Corrosion Congress. The 2026 programme brings together current research and practical approaches across corrosion science, with perspectives from multiple industries and application areas.

The congress starts with a visit to the KTH Reactor Hall on the opening evening. The following two days feature scientific presentations on topics such as corrosion mechanisms and modelling, testing and monitoring methods, materials design and strategies for corrosion prevention.
