A colourful LEGO Spike Prime robot with a face, wheels, and mechanical arms sits on a classroom table in the foreground. Behind it, a laptop displays a block-based programming interface. Students are visible out of focus in the background, suggesting a robotics or coding workshop.

Vetenskapens Hus is opening new laboratories in Kista, strengthening the connection between education, research and future skills development. The inauguration brings together representatives from academia, business, the public sector and schools to mark a new setting for hands-on learning in science and technology.

The programme includes inauguration speeches, future outlooks, guided tours of the laboratories, meetings with researchers, teachers and collaboration partners, followed by mingling and celebration.

As part of its broader work to strengthen skills development and talent initiatives in Järva and Stockholm, Kista Science City has supported coordination around the new laboratory environment.

Companies that want to support the establishment of Vetenskapens Hus in Kista can contribute demos, equipment or other inspiring material.
